About Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays

Established in 2002 Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays is a converted farm that contains a number of Holiday Cottages. Each of our cottages offers a high standard of accomodation with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.

Environmentaly Friendly Holiday Accommodation

At Malkin Tower we try to minimise our environmental impact while making sure your stay here with us is as enjoyable as possible. As part of this aim we have joined the Green Tourism Business scheme which provides accreditation and encouragement for tourism businesses to reduce the environmental impact of their activities and by encouraging sustainable practices ensures the continued enjoyment of the environment around us for future generations. In recognition of our commitment we have been awarded a Gold Award by the Green Tourism Business Scheme.

Walking holidays in England

The farm cottages are ideally situated for walking holidays in England. The cottages are near a footpath connecting the Pennine Bridalway on the eastern side and the villages of Roughlee, Newchurch, Barley and Fence on the western side. We take regular bookings from many different types of people on walking holidays. At Malkin Tower we will try our very best to ensure that all your needs are catered for.

The Location

Malkin Tower Farm Cottage Holidays is situated approximately 4 miles from J13 off the M65 and is only a few minutes from the village of Barrowford in Pendle. Barrowford has a good selection of high quality shops and restaurants. We are also only 10 minutes from the famous Boundary Mill Store in Colne.

There are also several extremely good pubs and restaurants, offering good menus, within 5/10 minutes of the cottages.
